Just asking on behalf of a friend, anyone know what Bartrums are like to work for on the general side? and the type of work they do? i know they do alot of Celotex stuff out of Hadleigh, and load out of Felixstowe (LDH La Doria i think) but do they have many nights out? go very far?
Yep, I agree with Mr Vain. Good old fashioned transport company where you’re expected to do a decent day’s work for a decent day’s pay. Fools definitely not suffered gladly, but the transport office is manned with people who’ve actually done the job, so they’re fair. Plonkers get sorted out pretty quick.
As well as Celotex, they do a lot of Robinsons work out of Norwich, and like Mr Vain said, they’re all over the UK.
Generally speaking good equipment if you’re on the staff, but recent new business means they’ve got in some pretty ropey old hire trucks from CoLease and Roy Humphreys.
If you’re not shy about doing good work you’ll be welcomed.
