Stopped there. For my 45 and cafe and facilities are all shut. Fella at covid station said it’s shut has been for a while
Ok this may be old news I duno.
So all have now is BP station with 1 cubicle for everybody to use .
Who on earth is going to pay to stop here over night god knows.
I wouldn’t pay to park on a bit of wasteland with nothing here now
It was always a run down crap hole with awful food anyhow…(well I say ‘always’, I only ever stopped there once which was more than enough.)
The message about the real reason for the driver shortage is just not getting through is it? 
I am really surprised that MOTO put their name to it in the first place, it has been open for quite a few years though.
First time I called there was in around 1985, it wasnt the best place then and it’s gone downhill ever since. I’ve stopped for a kip on a 45 a couple of times during lockdown, the parking was like a bombsite.
I’m surprised Moto havent built a regular service area there tbh with the amount of traffic that passes on the A1. I should imagine a bit of investment could be quite lucrative for them.
