It seems that theres a recent change to the services at Barnsdale Bar on the A1 southbound.
Barriers have been erected to stop truck entering the area near the motel previously used for truck parking. trucks can still access the fuel pumps, but now there isnt anywhere to take a break I suspect the barriers have been erected as the motel has recently changed hands and they want to use the land as car parking for guests. So we have lost another another site along the A1 which we can use. Maybe boycotting the fuel station will hit the site owners enough for them to reconsider the decision. Also maybe Rikki and the various publications can both investigate this, and publish this info in the mags to highlight it to the masses, so they dont run to the max and plan as I did beforehand to pull into the site for a break, only to find that theres no where to park, and you gotta pull back out and park elsewhere
