I know that it is bank holiday in France on monday, but a mate has just phoned me to say that it is bank holiday on tuesday as well. As I am running to Spain on monday could anyone please enlighten me as to whether this is true or not. Cheers.

It’s not true, the next holiday in France is July 14. The only place where there is a holiday on Tuesday is Sweden.
