the cousin of one of our drivers got up at 0530 this morning to be mugged by two blokes at keele. he’s £185 down.
the security . said it’s been happening a lot.
At least the crack security squad are on top of the situation.
How much more would the parking fee need to be before they could afford to upgrade the security to given muggers a bashing or at least catching them or at least doing something about it?
Any chance that the police might start to do a proper job and
have unmarked cars and plainclothes policeman out trying to
stop this,
and before some one says anything we are entitled to a safe
secure nights sleep ,and the motorway services should start to
think as what will they do if trucks boycott the fuel pumps and
they get stuck with low sales of fuel for a week or two■■?

Personally I won’t park on MSA’s however slightly off topic has anyone seen the latest edition of Truckstop news where in some truckstops they’re allowing drivers with keyfuels (& others) cards to pay for parking with their card?
