Sorry for being a numpty, but can anybody tell me if there is any difference in the time required for a weekly rest when working nights please? It looks to me to be the same as when working days but if anyone knows differently I’d be very grateful.

I am 99.9% sure its the same. ie 45 hours.
days nights its all the same … the only difference during the day its 
day light and at night its usually dark

When on nights, you’re allowed to take a fortnight off whenever you like on full pay…
(and the agencies all pay £1000 bonus at Xmas and Easter, and the hourly rate for drivers will increase to a minimum of £20/hour from 10th September 2014)

I’m sure plenty of companies would love the answer to be yes, you only have to have 24hrs ours off. Fortunately that’s not the case.
