There’s a danger that an influx of foreign driver that do NOT have “about to expire licences” - will roll the LOT of us over, if this DVLA log-jam lasts some months more to come yet…The way you beat the foreigners is exactly how you make yourself stand out as a more desirable driver than other natives applying for a job.
By being more competent than others and having a rock solid record of performance and attendance.

The foreign drivers I know - the people who have been in the country for years and who I drink with on occasion - have sort of acquired British attitudes and aren’t much different to the natives.
As for anyone coming over (not that I think they will); well, I can’t see them being much worse than Schapps boys. I’d rather not have the competition, but I’m still going to help them out - after a few
minutes of seeing them sweat - to get on the bay.
