Bad news Boris, they're not coming

Excellent Idea Winseer, That would exclude our Chief Primate: USA born and ex US citizen ‘Alexander Boris du Pfeffel Johnson’ who doesn’t fit any of your criteria

There’s a danger that an influx of foreign driver that do NOT have “about to expire licences” - will roll the LOT of us over, if this DVLA log-jam lasts some months more to come yet…

The way you beat the foreigners is exactly how you make yourself stand out as a more desirable driver than other natives applying for a job.
By being more competent than others and having a rock solid record of performance and attendance.
.

The foreign drivers I know - the people who have been in the country for years and who I drink with on occasion - have sort of acquired British attitudes and aren’t much different to the natives.
As for anyone coming over (not that I think they will); well, I can’t see them being much worse than Schapps boys. I’d rather not have the competition, but I’m still going to help them out - after a few
minutes of seeing them sweat - to get on the bay.

Mass immigration is the primary reason we’re in this mess (which was started decades ago)

They relied on cheap labour from foreign workers more and more as the years went by, and now it could be over by the looks of it.

This is what happens when you disrupt the harmony of a nation by bringing many different people in from vastly different cultures with different living standards. No plan in place for when they may bugger off. This was always on the cards, just a question of when.

My wages have recently gone up nearly 25% after nothing for years. Pure coincidence

No its nothing to do with immigration - 12000 ees left last year while 55000 brits retired or left the industry. Thats a small percentage.

You just disagree to disagree.
He is right.

No look at the figures. He is wrong.

Really? Think you’ll find that the fact that his father is British entititles him to British citizenship.

You win on that one Mazzer, similar situation to Nigel Farage who is a German Citizen

It’s not the iceman cometh - it’s the EE cometh!!

(He hasn’t come yet but he’s breathing fast…)

Just think: Labour are missing a hellova trick here… If they campaigned on a Worker’s Nationalist ticket (Since calling the Tories “■■■■” all the time - never seemed to do the Tories any harm…)
…You could go into the election stating:

"If we win the election
- we’ll only issue UK passports, Green Cards, and indefinite leave to remain to High-earning immigrants with a proven 66k+ PAYE job already lined up ( you don’t even get Child Benefit once your income gets that high…)

  • we will ban persons not born in this country from becoming or remaining as Prime Minister"

…And with THAT folks - you’ve thrown a bone to Remainers, thrown a bone to Nationalists, and thrown a bone to Tory Haters.

If THAT doesn’t win Labour a majority - the only other option is to exterminate every Tory voter in the country, but beware - we will be awaiting the Far Left incoming activist’s knock on our doors with your last bated breath, rather than our own. :smiling_imp: :smiling_imp:
