Got a few so just curious if anyone else has the same / will admit to them
Undertaking - If some truck driver wants to sit doing 50mph in the middle lane I will undertake him. Someone gave me the finger for doing this today but ■■■■ him. He just doesn’t want to move back to the left because 10 miles down the road the left hand lane turns into a slip road for the A12.
Trailers checks - I drive some of my trailers less then 10 miles so I never bother checking the mot certificate.
Trailers checks - Brake Lights if I can find someone to check them I will or if I can reverse up to something and see them great but I wont go out of my way to check them on a daily basis.
Cab checks - Tacho roll, I know there is probably some in the cab but I’ve never made sure there is.
Straps - I drive a box trailer / rigid so rarely bother to strap my pallets down just put them tight together. I also just put my pump up on its side or a Tyre if I have one I don’t strap it down.

Sure there are more but can’t think of any.
If some donkey is in the wrong lane for whatever reason yes I’ll undertake them.
Roadworks tonight Tesco plobbing along in middle lane so undertook him, got stuck behind slower traffic, walkers tried to overtake a car a few hundred yards before the roadworks ended.
So both of them sat in middle lane cars go and me and walkers truck accelerate, he wasn’t going anywhere far and I could have stood my ground but backed off to let him in, he was slower than me and Tesco was still plobbing along not overtaking either of us, I was having to back off for the walkers motor so indicated to Tesco plobber I want to overtake, he flashed me out eventually so I didn’t say thanks cause he’s a tool, overtook walkers and left Tesco knob to battle it out with him.
Auto correct mistakes edited so it makes me sense.
While driving down the M25; Listening to my MP3 while drinking a coffee and eating a sandwich and typing a post on Trucknet about how autonomous vehicles will never have the reactions of a driver.

A professional driver shouldn’t have bad habits, but it’s good you acknowledge them. Now you just need to work on them.
A professional driver should also know and adhere to tacho laws.
Don’t say too much in front of this one Joe, he is a grass!!!
Too late. He admitted on an open forum that he ignores driving limits. I’ve sent his post to my friends at DVSA who are tracking him down as we speak. Not sure if they’re sending guys from the international enforcement division though.

Feet up peeling the spuds ready for tea is one of my traits, takes some practice though, especially while negotiating the likes of Madrid central ect…
Stop showing off Andrew. I am currently sailing along the canals of Amsterdam with my feet up. Just hope they don’t get any deeper as the water is nearing the bottom of my door.
Not taking my reading glasses with me ( never liked wearing them ) , the amount of times people say just sign this , and for the life of me I can’t see where .
Getting my hopes up , I think this looks a good day , I’m doing really well and then it either goes ■■■■ up or day gets changed , after all these years should know better
Talking to myself , always done it but at 56 I should be out of that by now , but things get on top of me and it’s my way of calming myself down , do get some odd looks , blue tooth headsets have helped though as I guess some people think your talking into one of them
I undertake vehicles if they are in the wrong lane or hogging. I overtake police cars when they are doing 67 mph on the motorway. I drive to the shop without a seat belt and my dog sits on the back seat without a harness

Plus If you harness them up they can’t stick their head out a window. Why do dogs like sticking their chops in the wind? Cracks me up every time.

Getting fed up being stuck behind parcel plobbers battling it out for miles on end and taking to lane 3 to dust them.
Could be considered a bad habit.
Also guilty of blowing mirrors off in lane 3 as the Battle of The Beano Bellends takes place at 54 in lanes 1 and 2.
