B & q distribution centre worksop

Hi chaps,
Has anybody worked at B&Q Manton Wood?
Just wondered what the job was like and who runs the contract.

Regards,
Richard.

I don’t work there, but am in there regular. DHL run the site, decent bunch of lads who work on the goods in. Most of their units are 61 plate scanias, with a few volvos.

Never seem to see the jobs advertised for there. I’ve been searching for jobs there since it opened.

Does anybody know why B+Q use fridge trailers…?

P.s I think DHL is a nightmare to work for, one Agy lad once told me that one mistake & you’re out…

I was in there this morning, I asked about any driver vacancies for you, was told they haven’t started a full time driver for a long time, same as most places lately.

are they actually B&Q’s own motors or isit another company pulling for them??

I’m sure DHL does the transport for them, I think it’s part of the contract that they fleet is done out in B&Q livery.

better that way as DHL fleet standard is appalling I think, regular vehicle replacement is alien to them…

it was like the phantom warehouse, no drivers went in, no drivers came out. perhaps the trucks drive themselves lol
