B&M 20mph speed limit

The road outside at Speke is a 20mph limit. So, yesterday I did 20. Next thing there’s 2 professional drivers behind speeding up in my mirrors then driving an inch away from my back. What’s so hard about doing what the sign says?

Yawn!!

You should have pulled over to have a little cry, it would only cost you 100 quid

Now, was it mirrors or merc camera’s? next time ask security to hold your hand until the big bad man goes away.

Dont feed the troll…

About time this idiot was banned, all he wants to do is wind up the other forum members with his made up outrage directed at truck drivers, lights the touch paper and stands back.
He offers nothing to the forum.

It’s really quite simple and obvious what to do in this situation. Scroll past any thread if you do not like what you see. I reckon it only winds people up because they know it’s true.

If you want to drive at the speed limit (as i do) then you should do so and dont be intimidated by the usual suspects (tipper drivers, tangs etc ) you are doing nothing wrong.

As I have told the wife when she has complained about similar situations as long as she is legal don’t worry about what’s happening behind just concentrate on what’s in front-unless of course what’s behind has a flashing blue light on

Give the Old Bill a bell mate if it bothers you…or better still enlist. :bulb:
Don’t forget to pm Jakey and that other M6 self appointed traffic policeman (who’s name escapes me) you could compare notes of your adventures.

(Edit…See Jakeys already jumped on it like a randy mongrel on a pampered poodle. )

Simply mark him as blocked/ignored and you’ll never see another of his posts (unless somebody quotes him in their replies). Job done.

What’s so hard about doing what the sign says? In this instance the speed required - 20 - is not one that is easy to maintain, nor unlike 30, 40 etc is it one that drivers of any vehicle are used to judging without reference to the speedo. It also frequently falls between gears.

Very easy to maintain for a true professional. If it’s too hard to keep to 20 manually than you can put your cruise control at 20.

Way I see it is if some knob who has not got a second to spare :unamused: , wants to bury himself into my trailer doors, let him crack on…I could not give a ■■■■.
I ain’t going to waste my time worrying ‘what if’, I’m too busy watching my own work and worrying about things that are actually relevant to me…and what is in FRONT of me. :bulb:
I’m neither a traffic marshall nor a copper, …not so sure about the o/p.

Some…

Complete and utter jockstrap wants to drive really close to my 44ton trailer 15 metres behind me?

Fill yer boots mate.

Unless of course…

It directly concerns you and the fact that you get all riled up over me calling your alter ego a liar.

You really got upset over me calling Fridgemonkey a liar…why’s that then?

The other day you wrote a great post but to come out with this drivel is just a pathetic excuse.

+1 for any normal user but the trolls like to through abuse around when that don’t agree. It’s their childish nature I reckon.

It’s a very long time since TN banned anybody, so I’ll explain that Dicky Nick’s post isn’t anywhere near ‘ban’ territory.

You might have a fair point, but with anything that folks think is winding up/trolling, I wonder why they don’t simply scroll past it to find something more interesting?

If people did that, a wind-up/troll post would very quickly die a death by being starved of the oxygen it needs because the original poster cannot then laugh at YOU and the others who then answer and bicker amongst themselves.

:bulb: IMHO, problems with topics are usually caused by easily entertained sheep who enjoy flocking to spoil topics by simply having a go at people, probably because they have no original ideas or actual useful replies of their own. :unamused:

Never a truer word spoken.
