No. To get manual BE she will need to pass the test in a manual BE.

We are waiting for the UK Govt to change the law on this issue as it is daft because those with manual B can get manual in any of the C or D categories by passing test in auto but this does not go for B+E
A horse trailer with one horse in it can be towed by a B licence holder with the right vehicle and (down plated) trailer
EXAMPLE
Nissan Xtrail 4x4 - GVW 2200 - towing capacity 1800
Bateson Derby trailer - empty 675 - MAM 1300 (down plated from 1700) - max trailer load 625
