B / D / NL Borders Freight Clearance Centre TIR

Hi all,
On this March I will go to Belgium & Holland (Venlo) & Germany for truck photos.
Can anyone tell whereabout for TIR Freight Clearance Centre at borders or somewhere in

Leige/Eupen/ Litchenbusch/ Aachen borders area (E40/E42) B - D
Aachen - Heerlen (A4 - A76) D- NL
Roermond - Monchengladbach (A73 - A52) NL - D
Venlo NL - D

I would like to take pictures of non EU trucks like Russian, Belarussian, Kazakhstan, Turkish and Iranain. I know they will be parking at Freight Clearance Centre

Also any others place populars for Turkish or Russian trucks? - MSA or Truckstop or Industrial Zone Park
I will go to Valenciennes, Eupen, Koln (Ford Werke Plants), Frechen, Euskirchen, Dusseldorf and Venlo.

Does anyone know where are Willi Betz deliveries or loading or parking area in this area (see above)

thanks Ben.

Not much in the way of photo opportunities at that border, Elmpt. But you can get very good chips at the snack bar there. :stuck_out_tongue:

You would have more opportunities at the Schwanenhaus Border than at Elmpt.

I can certainly recommend Lichtenbusch - not sure there’s customs office (possible, there are some grey buildings apart from hotel and fuel station), sizeable parking, very busy and good selection of lorries from over all over Europe. I was there before Christmas.
Bocholtz (A4, NL-D)… I think there’s a customs office but the place seems to be very quiet, five trucks max any time I went past.
In Aachen itself there are some warehouses off Prager Ring, western end and Lindt choco factory on the other end of the city.
Kaningsberg Wurselen - shops, stores and warehouses off the Kreuz Aachen.
Aachener Land, Frechen… Koln Godorf (Shell refinery), when at Ford go also to the docks and areas around (Niehl?)
And of course Leverkusen (Bayer chem works cover most of the city)
Betz has depot in Eupen and somewhere near Leverkusen - afaik.
For Russians you need to go further north - Venlo europaweg (A67), Bad Bentheim (A1).

thanks for your help, Yes I will defintely go to Lichtenbusch borders, Kaningsberg Wurselen and Aachenerland because
I will be on this route from Eupen to Frechen.
I will go to Koln - Ford Werk & Niehl Port are popular place for Turkish trucks

Willi Betz’s Terminal depot at Eupen, Monheim and LGI warehouse in Huxne & Herten in North Dortmund

Of course Venlo are best place for Baltic & Russian but I know there are huge parking place at Bad Bentheim but not sure at moment cos
don’t have time enough to cover this place - wait and see.

Plenty of Turkish trucks parked at Oude Bunders Industriezone,Maasmechelen, just off the E314 before the Dutch border.Follow the signs for the ‘Kringloop’,and there is a parking just on the right which seems to be some sort of Turkish freight forwarder, there’s always Turks parked in there.

Usually plenty of Turkish trucks parked around the Houthalen area too (large Turkish community there).

Have a look on Google for any large Bosch factories/warehouses,as you know Ben,Willi-Betz has a large contract with Bosch.
