39 deaths on Spain May Day holiday roads

The number of deaths is 17 lower than last year
The long May Day bank holiday break ended officially at midnight last night with a total of 39 deaths on Spain’s roads.
The number was 17 lower than last year for the same break, despite treacherous conditions in many areas, especially AndalucÃa yesterday.
Four members of the same family died in a tragic accident in Écija, where there car ended up cut completely in two.
In another accident a lorry driver died when his tanker jack-knifed off a bridge on the outskirts of Granada and burst into flames.
