Aysgarth transport north yorkshire

i does anybody have any info or photos on aysgarth transport from aysgarth north yorkshire.they used to run a few mercs 1617 flat bed ridges.daycab and sleeper cabs in blue and white.they also had a cattlefloat body.and used to move hay and straw and potatos in sacks.

Hi ragamuffin,
By eck, but youre mekkin` me brain work !!
I can not recall any haulier of that name ,…but there was a haulier named Les Brown from Carlton.
His last wagon was a red Mercedes (1617 ? ) , and he retired about 20 years ago. Sadly, Les died last year.
Les transported hay & straw , and moved livestock during the busy season.

The only haulier I knew of , lived at the bottom of the long hill below Aysgarth , but I am unable to remember
what wagons he owned , only that he moved hay & straw. Again, this would be 25 years ago.

Good luck with your seeking .

Cheers, cattle wagon man.
