axor 1823

hi my axor 1823 has developed an engine fault it was running fine then when on motorway started to lose power when I stoped a services it wasn’t running on all cylnders I changed fuel filter but it was just the same .has any one got any ideas .

Merc 6 cylinders have a split ECU.Half controls 123 other side 456.
Feel the exhaust manifolds too see if you got cold cylinders.
If you got one cold cylinder could be pump coil, injector “nose” or dead injector.

Only pumps have electronic controlled dump valves.None of your injector solenoid tripe

thanks for that info found out on Friday 456 not working but can clear fault and we have one not working so it might be electrical or wiring problem or pump or injector.thanks for that info

just been thinking when lorry is switched of the fault comes back running on 3 then clear it then running on 5 is it ecu fault or pump coil/injector.

Check for out of range pump coil resistance. Think its about 30 ohms.
