yes I did and my reply is that the company ssow ie their HEALTH AND SAFTEY has to be adhered to … and that the driver MIGHT have come a cropper and is on a warning. so the ONLY action the driver can take is to cover his A 55 by doing everything by the book or he could be out on his ear .
I understand what you are saying,but all the other op and the forkie wanted him to do was move the trailer,and if in their yard[private land] what was his problem in taking so long, all he had to do was hitch up move then do his checks,my guess is he was being awkward because he was asked to do it and didn’t want to

until someone goes running to brown nose the boss that driver B who is on a warning didn’t do checks etc before touching / moving his trailer so gets pulled in for a final or even his cards … if the OP was that uptight why didn’t he of the forkie have a word …
