I’m doing store deliveries in Inverness this week. Sitting bang on 50 through average speed camera sections both north and south of Perth and getting passed by a lot of trucks. This got me thinking - can average speed cameras pick up hgvs above the speed limit for the category of vehicle?
When i was working up that way i used to sit on the limiter between dunblane and perth.When on the single parts of the A9 i used to sit at 85kph and i never heard anything.
No they dont they are only set at the speed limit for that road
