AutoRoute 2006 was released yesterday. I pre-ordered my copy from www.play.com for £39.99 delivered instead of the recommended £45 . It arrived today (Saturday).

It now has voice directions and a night vision map.

Mapping update in UK is disappointing as the A34/M4 junc not updated and the A120 at Great Dunmow has not been updated.

At least the Westerschelde tunnel between Goes and Terneuzen in the Netherlands is now on the map as is the A29 from Amiens to Neufchatel-En-Bray in France.

Looking forward to playing with the voice commands as got a trip to Niort and Tarbes in France next week.

As far as I know neither NavTeq nor TeleAtlas will sell (lease) an outdated version of their map data.
