The starting time for the HGV night-time driving ban between Kramsach and Wörgl on the Inntal motorway (A 12) in Tirol is now 20.00 (instead of 22.00, as was previously the case) and applies until 5.00 (no change). “Euro-4 HGVs” are exempt from the ban. The Transitforum Austria-Tirol has protested against this exemption. Because transporters “exchange their fleet every two years” the ban will be ineffective within a short time. The 30 transport enterprises cooperating in the Transportforum, in contrast, are vehemently fighting the extension of the ban for economic reasons.
