Make demurrage compulsory and legally binding to the consignee (especially at DHL operated sites, NISA, B&Q, NHS, ASDA), how many hauliers are out there operating mobile (sorry static) warehouses, a typical 4 hour turnaround AFTER the booking in time is not acceptable! Maybe this is something the RHA could sort out (okay, maybe not, you can stop laughing now).
Fuel rebates should be allowed, the same as France, Belgium, Spain etc the level playing field go’s uphill in Uk, plus with the rebate we could all go and buy newer trucks !!!

Don’t understand how you think it would stop UK hauliers doing euro work surley the work would increase as foreign hauliers wouldn’t be able to enter the UK - I know it’s a bit of a crazy idea but thats just my view.

If you stop foreign hauliers coming into the UK the first thing the euro countries would do would be to stop UK hauliers entering Europe
