In your view does my assumptions make me racist? I formed an opinion based on information and what I saw. If I saw guy dressed in lederhosen called Kurt Schultz, with blonde hair I would assume he was German, and dare I say it more than likely Christian.

no i do not assume you are racist. but just saying that it is hard to make assumptions of someone’s colour and their race and religion.
For example my half sister is dark skinned (mediterranean) and when she was younger in the 70s many thought she was of asian descent.

Rikki, I could see your point if we were saying stuff like all blacks are ******* , or all whites are *****,… but nobody is, so what is wrong with a debate on a relevant aspect to the post, albeit a potentially sensitive one.

Yeh my beautiful 18 yr old daughter is often mistaken for being Eastern. She works in a Turkish shop and is assumed to be Turkish, and has been the subject of abuse by at least one low life racist ■■■■■■■■ …who’s head I will rip off if/when I catch him.

could have been a little green man from mars for all I care, but if he crash landed you can be sure someone would be saying he was either agency, Stobart or eastern E driver, 
b4 it gets locked lol, i was once delivering drinks to a few restaurants/bars in the same location, basically park in car park at rear and you could do 5 drops from same location, i was doing one bar and my drivers mate took a sack barrow of booze to a turkish restaurant, i heard a door slam looked around and my drivers mate was being chased by a guy with a large knife, turned out its was the restaurants manager and he ended up being tackled by his own staff… i made it to the truck as i had keys and got it open for my mate, all because he said he would not put the drinks away which was,nt our job anyway… police waste of time, and lad got suspended from work whilst an investigation took place…

For instance threads are never locked when job shortages are discussed, when the Polish drivers aspect is brought up, a similar principle to this thread.would you not say?

Fact is Northern Ireland is not Britain. It’s part of the British Isles. It’s part of the island of Ireland, the second largest of the 5 or 6 thousand islands which make up the British isles, and along with England Scotland and Wales forms The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
It’s right there on the front of your passport where NI is listed separately from GB.

If the attack was because of race then it may be a valid point ( but probably still not relevant to this forum). it wasn’t. the attack was because of where he had parked. The race/religion/colour of the driver or attackers is not relevant.
Now we all know if this topic is not kept on subject - ( a driver got attacked by a couple thugs while doing his job) and is allowed a free for all on peoples views on race it will soon go well past the point of being acceptable on these boards and get removed.
