can anybody HELP PLEASE? I have a Atego 815 MY 2001 Y reg. The EDC light has come on with fault code FR 7070 but the truck runs fine. I have trawled the web with no result!! Does anybody know how to read the ■■■■ codes?

I think we had the same problem with two 815’s we used to own. I think it is something to do with a sensor on the clutch housing. Have you had a new flywheel or ring gear lately (common problem)?
I think it just needs re-setting at the dealer, I just rang the service dept of our local merc dealer and asked them what the code meant.

many thanks coldupnorth ill check it out, yes its had new ring gear,but many moons ago when ryders ran it!!
did you find the correct solution as mine has come up with the same code.
It could be that the throttle pedal needs re-programming,ive got a list of fault codes in my garage,ill dig it out and have a look for you.
