Hi Chazzer, are you thinking of Franfurt am Oder and Stublitzy ( or something like that ), the one with that smashing little restaurant on the Polish side .
Hi Mushroomman thats the one Frankfurt an Oder where you used to drive pass all the russians, poles and other east europeans to the border as west europeans supposedly had priority in the late eighties; be the other way round now I expect.

when did they start putting plastic marker posts up by the side of the road in the middle of turkey, could this be a red herring thrown in and been taken in southern spain
Hi chazzer, these were not plastic markers, but concrete ones. The reason why they were so few and far between is that the turks pulled them out of the ground and used them as wheel chocks when they broke down, or layed them flat on the road behind them so that you would run over them before running into the parked truck in the dark. I think there were more lying broken at the side and on the road than there were as distance markers.

P.S. I bet that reddesertfox wished that a certain camel had laid some down on the road before crossing in front of him Ha Ha.

Hi Jamie
From your last comment I think the penny has just dropped has to who the Reddesertfox is.
Is he a tall guy about 6’ plus blond hair (may be Grey now) making him 7’-6" ■■ or at least he always looked that way to a short guy like me !!
Dave.
Hi ashbarns, i dont know the answer to your question, i like you am only guessing and if i told you who i think it is i would then have to kill you. wink wink.
If it is who i think it is then i wish him all the best as i have not seen him for many years. I hope he doesnt get someone to send me an obscene phonecall for posting this, as it is all in good fun. regards jamie.

Orr Dave, you didn’t even give me a chance to post my second clue . I thought that the power lines in the background might of gave it away, just in case that you weren’t too sure I thought that this photo with the burnt out tyre might help.
Failing that you could of looked in my photobucket for the answer .
I can’t see a Red Desert Fox in these photos as he only comes out at night or in the early mornings but he is around somewhere .
Regards Steve.

Yes Roy it is your back end, here is a photo that I think that you have never seen before of your front end and if I would of been a bit quicker taking the photo it might of been a photo of your backside .
