You just dont know how wrong you are, everything you say is wrong, do you also remember me on Pasagad, I was running all the way with them, The names are wrong, the places are wrong, You should look up your facts and revert back to 1978.

Hey Roger
Maybe you should listen to Gavin a little more …“Believe a quarter of what you hear and half of what you see”
Red Desert Fox… R.I.P.
Good to see you back Mr Fox , I hope that you had a good Ramadam and you didn’t get too drunk
.
Now let’s see if you or Roger can remember where this photo of this TEMPORARY bridge was taken, it’s open to anybody so come on I am sure that some of you will know it .
Regards Steve.
Cheers Steve…
Ramadan was easy this year, it was in RSA… Left on the first day of Ramadan and got back to the M/E on 2nd day of Eid accompanied by some curly tail and a little bit of mouthwash… The only Baily Bridge I think I used was in Iraq somewhere south of Baghdad, maybe Nasariyah or Samara, but not sure on this, I bet Rog will know cuz he is a smart guy
As a last shot, it could have been Kamarno…come on Roger I have done my best, now it is all down to you…if you want the milky bar…

.
B.T.W. is there such a thing as Halal Biltong .
Sure is, but it’s called hallelujah biltong…which was also imported duty free into the ME.

Thanks for the info, what a shock, not that I knew any of them, as I was in a different type of transport, (I used to drive for Linotype - Paul, who were Linotype & Machinery’s parent company, we did the Imagesetters and Drum Scanners.
I wrote to Astran haulage regarding the film Destination Doha and they asked Dave Poulton if he could record the programe for me, which he did & I still have it some where. I did hear that John Williams past away just after the film was made, I also have a dvd staring ■■■■ Rivers & one of the doctors from Doctor in the House tv series, its rubbish, but I suppose the truck was nice, although I cant remember what the truck was. Thanks for the info, how ever sad it was.
Showtruckdaf (if you want to know what the show truck looked like, look on biglorryblog, august 2009, its under my name dizzy-t. ). Whats Frank Hook doing these days, also Dave Poulton, last I heard he was a baggage handler at Heathrow ■■?.
Richard Smith.

Cant tell you about Frank - but David will hopefully get on here soon and tell you himself!
Dont know how true this is but there was someone who posts on trucknet was meant to work with Frank Hook doing uk work. Im sure I read he jacked it in after the one trip in destination doha Sinbin or one of the other drivers may be able to verify this though. I also read on here Dave Poulton was doing sellers down to the middle east and he was doing night trunking but i dont know how true that is.
