Hi GS, sem to remember seeing Bob and his Scammell in truck magazine, a Long distance Diary feature, think the story was about Peter Lea Trucking F12, in Orient Freight colours, was it that trip?

I do vaguely remember seeing Poggi in one of the editions, and yes hold on a minute…the mist is clearing, I think he was standing with his arms folded with the old Scammell in the background and the main article was with one of Peters.
I think that the Orient truck was going to or coming back from Kuwait and Bob was on a Doha trip.
But we used to do so many trips that I can’t say exactly. Sorry, I’m starting to go off on one here!!
In answer to your question, no it wasn’t that trip, because if it was then I would have got in the article and had my 15minutes of fame!

no not me in picture,this is rabbits truck he bought part of the stage in from turkey and joined with 15 other trucks in rome on tour with madonna 2006, just about to turn trailer into kitchen, as we swere stuck for 10days catering in moscow. Not good
No not me, just doing a little bit for EST, I met rabbit in rome had a great time with him on the rest of the tour and got the bug to do the middle east. Did my first trip march this year with Chris hooper.
