Assessments - do you only get 1 shot

WhiteTruckMan:
if the OP is seriously worried about his (or her) skills then why not book an assessment - obviously out of their own pocket - with a driving school? That should identify any bad habits that might have crept in since passing the test.

If it helps, think of it as revising for an exam.

Yes I agree with that 100%

ETS you sound like you have a problem with your reversing. The stupid S bend as you call it is not stupid. It shows that you can demonstrate a little of everything. It’s been like that for years and works for most. It’s practice you need. In the good old days and even now (if time allows) an instructor will give you other reverses other than the "stupid S bend.

ETS:
they do city multi drop on curtainsiders, I could go there to get some XP but like I’m saying the work is bottom of the barrel and the money is I believe in the region of £10 p.h. for class1 with no overtime/night pay

Welcome to the world of a new pass with no experience.
What are you expecting? A 19 plate FH500 with 2 drops, a 100 mile round trip and £18 an hour?

God, not a Volvo. A V8 Scania I might agree to, though.
