The engines running or fridges don’t bother me at all. Truck next to me the other night had the compressed lettin off air every two minutes and really dodgy noise now that was annoying. Turned my engine on to drown it out.
One of my main gripes with fridges is the bleeper that goes off on some of them before the fridge fires up and I have to agree about the white noise thing, its the turning off and on that gets me going. However, the thing that really gets me fired up is reversing bleepers and the guy/gal that has 96 shunts to get into a space and has no clue how to turn the sodding bleeper off…

If it takes him 96 shunts, it is probably safer to leave the bleeper on, at least you know when he is a bit close 
I didn’t have a fridge. I had a generator but the thing that woke me up was when it stopped

i think the bleeper you mean is the warning bleep that the engine is about too start up which cant be turned off and not a reversing bleeper
