Afternoon everyone, got a drop near Ashbourne tomorrow pm. Can’t remember the last time I was in that area, but hopefully someone could suggest where I can park an artic up for the night. I’ve got another drop Uttoxeter Thursday morning so could make it there. Would be good to be walking distance to a bite to eat. Used to park on the old cattle market in Derby, but I understand that it’s now closed :frowning:.

Don’t park on the A50, you will have no fuel or curtains in the morning, there is parking on the Airfield

Also a Brewers Fayre our next door you could get a decent meal if you didn’t fancy fast food @ BK or Subway.
Parking for about 15 HGVs so as long as your there early ish you should be ok.

Literally 2 mins from Uttoxeter.

You can park on Airfield industrial estate in Ashbourne or if you can make it to Uttoxeter follow the bottom road on the map above past the restaurant towards the town then at the little spot roundabout turn left onto a small industrial estate, you can park there, there is always people around on there as Fox’s biscuits shunt trailers to their warehouse at the end of the road.

The quieter rd on the Ashbourne airfield is turn left at the cafe ,there’s a large turning area at the end .

You can park by the train station in uttoxeter. Minutes from town centre.
