The red(panic) button apparently contacts the police with your location after 2 minutes of being pressed if not disabled.
NO the red button is the turbo booster.

I did two shifts at Asda sitting around for four hours each time listening to other drivers telling me how great this was to be getting paid for sitting doing sfa, on the third shift I sat a couple of hours and then threw the towel in. If they can’t plan to get vehicles and drivers matched up when they have control of every part of the operation I am not prepared to be part of their “cattle market of sitters”, (I actually heard this expression).Regards Kevmac47.

Stop at gatehouse on the way out, THEN put your seal on the back.
Another newbie question, any reason why the security seal should be put on at gatehouse rather than when you pull off the bay and shut the doors?

I guess it’s so the security bod can check load if they desire.
Thanks.
Well I think I’m ready to go, just need a call now! I’ll probably be offered a curtainsider when they originally told me itlll be fridge work and I’ve never used them before!
If you are going to ADC it’s all curtains, may be double deckers or tail lift, if you are in CDC it’s all fridge, if it’s George it’s mainly boxes. Doesn’t matter what the agency tell you it’s down to what is going out when you get there and get sorted. It can even change while you are sat waiting in front of the transport office dispatcher. One thing is certain, you won’t know where, when or what you are doing until you get the paperwork in your mitt and your unit is checked over and is ok.
i,m in the george bit upto 4 times a day, the blokes in there all seem very happy with it
I did some subby work for ASDA Lutterworth last Christmas. For the so called Christmas rush. I imagine its the easiest ‘trucking’ job in the world. Lucky ■■■■■■■■■
