almost been bowled over a few times by cyclists coming silently from nowhere , should make them put lollipop sticks in their wheels so you can hear them coming , some new cars are almost as bad though they sneak up on you quiet 
unbelievable! a dumb cyclist. I think it’s a valid justification to ban all bicycles,as it clearly is the point of the OP

So pedestrians don’t always have right of way! You have listed two examples yourself.
Why do you think I have asked if the collision happened on a road, pavement or cyclepath?
My issue with cyclist is how they choose weather they’ve got there right to ride on the road or ride down a footpath and keep switching between the two or disobey traffic regs and there very hard to identify and a small percentage of them are insured or actually have a clue about the highway code
The comments say it was in a pedestrianized zone so its another irresponsible muppet cyclist who think hes got the RIGHT to cycle there

hence my argument on here on previous posts cyclist should have to do tests, have insurance and some sort of identifier but I get called a moron and told I shouldn’t have a driving licence for this view if you obey to rules why would you object to these comments (it was these so called True cyclists) who spout all this crap on here how the’re god like and judge other motorists as I’ve got more right to use the road. It would do well to take some responsibility and rather then argue with other motors push for your self’s for mandatory insurance and bike identifier to remove the ones giving you a bad name like motors your never judged by the ones who do well your always judged on the negative
but your not going to get anywhere arguing hurling abuse on a truck forum how you’ve got rights etc (not you chester) about your cause as most of us just see you as Tw@ts a bit like ramblers but that’s another topic

Read it, so what? Would you like me to post the story about the driver that killed a cyclist while driving with a sandwich in his hand? On the day all vehicle drivers, whatever size, can get through a day without breaking any law, or killing someone, on the road or pavement then I will take note of your opinions about cyclists.
Can we take it as read that as far as some truckers are concerned cyclists are the enemy & move on?
Anybody that rides a push bike should be put to death.there a pain in the arse.
