TBH not all showmen run junk…
Take a look at this ex H.G. Wilson Lhd Volvo from back in 2004.
Since been exported as it was considered to be getting too old!!
Not the heaviest of rides but the gross weight for this combination is still around 65 tons gross and the price tag is apparently a cool £500k!!
Still not conclusive enough to make such a wild statement like Mr Saaamon’s. You might know what you know from your time with the circus, but you don’t know how well maintained every other vehicle in the UK is. You can only make assumptions and assumptions are not facts.

I hope this helps, almighty one.
never been with the Circus my old mate but I did do agency work for Trading Standards - mainly on STGO Cat1 testing weighbridges, but also when the fairgrounds came to town we used to take the load cells to weigh each trailer and VOSA were there checking over everything as where the HSE… its conclusive enough that I know what I am talking about, and know from personal experience having done it just how strigently they are checked. where as you are making assumptions based on nothing concrete… but why let a simple things like facts and truth get in the way of a decent rant… I apologise for spoiling your point
I don’t, I’m just standing up for the “innocent until proven guilty” rule that Rikki himself is usually so keen to enforce. Up to now we’ve only got the word of Rikki and Saaamon who obviously moonlights as a clown. Show me some facts and statistics and I will sit quietly in the corner like a good boy.
