Some regulars may recall we added a 16.5m MAN to the fleet recently.
The first test was on Tuesday this week - 18yr old lad. Passed 2 minor marks.
The second was on Thursday this week - 1 minor mark and a FAIL on reverse. (Nerves?)
I’ve done 2 artic conversion courses this week with great success.
So it looks as though we may have done the right thing in backing down and getting “Colussus”.

Going to Roadtrain in Grays tomorrow to do 3 hours on their artic ready for new job Monday morning
Done a 3 hour assessment in an artic with no conversion and finally got the job a week later…only 6 months after getting the full time Class 2 work. Found going going from a 39ft beavertail to artic quite simple.
Real hard work starts on Monday in new job. I’ve got to start driving their 750HP FH16 on the low loader already driven it once unloaded after getting my contract from the office as a favour for the boss…its a bit overwhelming with all that power with the low loader empty behind.
And I’ve got the 550HP Volvo to start with for the bulker…
I think my nightmares are to start from Monday 7am…
