Arrested

Unfortunately yes, 3 times for theft of pallets, ahem, once for calling a Spanish copper who gave me grief a, excuse my Spanish, “putana bas-ta-doh”, and another for not giving guardia civil a bung in a small town inland of alacant.

Been arrested once and as a result I now have a 9 page long crb check, ■■■■ them all!

Was in a routiers in France-Midi & just been served the soup. There was only one other driver at my table who sat opposite me. I served him his soup & the patron came over & asked the guy to step outside. At every window there was a Gendarme with a machine gun.I put a plate over the guys soup to keep it warm,I thought it was a heavy tacho swat squad. The police asked the patron if we came in together & luckily the other guy had arrived 5 mins before.Anyway this guy was a Corsican & had done an armed robbery at a post office a few miles down the road but, being French he stopped at midday for lunch! The road was dead straight from the post office to the restaurant.I was famous afterwards every time I went there but no free beer.

Had a slight bump in Melton Mowbray years ago in a DAF 95 drawbar outfit with the pod on top of the cab, (not stobbies though), anyway was delivering some dog food to a farm so I was turning up a narrow road, I looked in my mirrors, nothing, indicated, turned into the road looked again in my mirrors to watch the trailer round and was surprised to see a youth in a fiat ducato van with all 4 wheels locked on the wrong side of the road sliding towards the drive axle of the DAF, BANG in he went, it pulled the gearbox off his engine, pushed the passenger door down the side of the van and the dashboard was touching the front passenger seat. Now bearing in mind I had to drive over the other side of the road and then I got 16 into the road I was turning into, so how fast was he going? I stopped, not that I was hardly moving anyway switched engine off and just blocked the road, rang for plod and the young lad got out of his mangled van, I said nothing to him, i just sat in the cab till plod turned up, well this is where the problems started, he was obviously fresh out of plod school, he walked round the front of my truck with his shades on and all his vagazzle on his belt clanking around and walking like mad max, "Whats happened?" he asked "I reversed into him, what do you think?!!!" I replied, "dont take that attitude with me" I said "well he has obviously been trying to overtake near a junction as I was turning" "why are you going up that road, it has a 7.5 t weight limit?" "read the sign again mate, it says except for loading and unloading" "Im not your mate" he barked he carried on "did you indicate? did you check your mirrors? show me you indicators are working" even though nobody was injured he still called for the accident investigation to attend. As the test, measurements were finished the van was pulled out of the side of the truck and plod again decided to have another go, "your tyres got a chunk missing out of the side" "yes, that would be due to a van trying to demolish it" "I cant let you move it like that, its dangerous, it will have to be recovered" he said "dont talk crap, I cant keep blocking the road when it will drive no problem, nothing will happen to it and im only tipping at the top of this road i will call ATS out to replace it" "no, no, no if you move it I will arrest you for a dangerous vehicle" it was at this point the accident team suggested that I move the truck and go about what I was doing which put his nose right out of joint. He eventually followed me to the farm and arrested me for due care and attention anyway, then de-arrested me■■? and summonds me to court. I asked him what the final thoughts were of the a-i but he said they were not getting involved but in his experience the young driver was not doing more than 30mph, to which I told him to "ZB off" and got out of his car. I had the tyre replaced by ats and left after being unloaded, but as I got back onto the road where it happened I lined the truck up with his skid marks and they were longer the the drawbar outfit which was 62 long, 30mph my ZB. :imp: :imp: :imp:
My solicitor said just plead guilty, no chance, so it got adjurned for a trial, one week before I was due to appear in court the CPS threw it out due to lack of evidence.
Turns out plod knew the van driver, they were from the same village.

Inbred Bsted!

I got my crb check back the other day and its 9 pages does that count?!
