Last September coming back from Bordeaux on the A10, going in the opposite direction right hand drive english reg Argos unit & trailer. I assumed maybe he was on his way to Gibraltor, as I’ve never seen a French or Spanish Argos…
Then again he may have been doing a home delivery…

asda fridge trailers were built by chearu in france and city used to bring them in for asda ,lamberet build sainsbury fridge trailers and i know of one company that fetch them from macon for sainsbury.ive also seen tesco day cabed artics in calais

no, they where travalling southbound near Omer. defo asda units and trailer, was suprised to see that, this was bout 5years ago
perhaps they were units that had been sold for export and so
heading perhaps for the place /docks to beloaded,
i was talking to a argos driver in the summer in France, and he said they go to the bottom of spain or Portigal with loads of garden furnture. to be photographed, for the new catalog . The load is then donated to the locals down there.He then comes back empty.
He said they go 2 or 3 times a year.
