I wonder who does the driver training for argos,i followed one off the m5 into bromsgrove lunchtime a corby trailer, came off the m/way no indication whilst coming up the slip road i backed off but he kept going right to the last minute then he hoofed his foot on the brake(didnt see an anchor come out the window)then proceeded to ride up the kerb round the corner fast, then braked half way in down the hill at 30 in a 40 to the next roundabout anchor out the window again, nothing coming from the right chugged round r/about upto next one up the kerb again round and exits off up the kerb again upto a right hand turn where he decides to turn right(no indication again) and leaves the trailer sticking across two lanes cos the light were on red cmon its guys like this that give us a bad name he definatley needs a refresher,so if you frequent these forums use your mirrors/indicators mate
You know its funny actually, I saw an Argos 18 Tonner today doing some pretty skillful driving.
We live on a pretty small, new close, which forks off into a vague “Y” shape at the end, one of the houses is having some work done so there are tradesmens vans all down one side.
This Argos rigid comes round the corner and I see him stop and think about how to get down in between all these vans, which quite frankly left about 2 inches to spare either side of his nice shiny new DAF CF
He spun it round in the enterance to the close, reversed down at a sensible speed, got it in the drive first time and the back doors right up to the garage, all the time doing little “S” turns in between these vans.
Very impressed I was, which is why it was in my mind when I saw this thread. The only thing I’ll say is it might not have been an Argos driver as the rigid looked hired, all white, brand new, and with just an Argos sticker on the doors.
Or perhaps they aren’t all that bad

You might get a response if you post it in Polish/Romanian/Lithuanian/Albanian…
i did a few shifts for argos at stafford.
the training is all done in-house, they have their own instructors. as far as i know most the argos work is carried out by DHL.
Argos Magna Park in house
Corby and Kettering Wincanton
Magna have white 18t van unmarked and a sprinter
if you saw the map you get from Magna you would know why he slammed the brakes on late
delivery address chance would be a fine thing
