I had a bloke in a Polish LHD van give me a big cheesy grin when I overtook him on the M40 the other day…I usually give a bit of a nod if they are staring into the cab, I prefer to see where I’m going though (and watch the mirrors…)

Undertook, surely?

Njet, I overtook him…he went to all that effort across the width of his van and my truck.

Had another one today funnily enough, an MAN artic came past me (I’m presuming no limiter but was on UK plates) the guy started staring me down once his cab was level with mine, then it was big grin, nodding, and off he went…I just smiled and nodded back, having no idea what else to do…I guess they do it to help pass the time?

Perhaps he thought you were that preacher who stands in Banbury High Street??

When I drove for a living, I always had a pink & green wig & a pair of ā€˜Elton John’ sunglasses In the cab. Sometimes I’d put them on before overtaking another truck. This was even funnier while driving In the UK (I drove a left ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ),as you were ā€˜right up close & personnal’ with the driver of the other truck. Some of their reactions were priceless.

One of our drivers passed me quite often wearing sunglasses with the left lense missing and had this eye shut !

as most of you know im on the coaches at the moment when taking a hen night ect south blackpool or some place like that a few of the drunk ones will give the driver a flash at their ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  if you sound your claxton horn makes for a very interesting journey if the girls get a good reaction then i sit level for a cpl of mins lol
