Are you one of those drivers that has a right good stare off into the lorry your overtaking, it happens all the time (limited to 54 :unamused: ), personally i dont mind just makes me laugh, some people even give you a nod when you look over lol.

I often find myself switching off the cruise just as someone gets level while overtaking…

If you wasn’t staring at them you know they was staring back. I just look straight ahead in case I’ve upset them and they’re making rude gestures at me, that happens a lot.

I very rarely overtake anything nowadays now I have a rather asthmatic Merc.

I find myself making a point of looking directly ahead deliberately to avoid that very thing, I get the feeling that these guys who do look at others as they pass may have homosexual tendency’s :laughing:

We once swapped a sandwich and Beer the Hill up towards J17 M1 north Bound.
He had righthand Steer and i Lefthand Steer Lorry,and plenty Time
hauling the Hill up doing Breakfast on lane 1 and 2 :laughing:

Perhaps I should get out more, but I find it quite nice to get a friendly nod from another driver. :blush: especially on a long, lonely drive. :laughing:

I’ll glance over if I’m coming from behind ( excuse the expression ) but if I’m being overtaken I’ll look straight ahead.

When that happens I would love to lay across the seats quickly so it looks like the cab is empty :open_mouth:

Well I used to look across and give a friendly wave or nod to a fellow worker but nowdays I’m just staring at a drawn curtain and I think, up yours too buddy ! :confused:

We used to have lorries parked up the corner of the yard no one wanted to drive as they only did 58mph :laughing: :laughing: bet they wish they had them now !
