Are truck drivers working class or middle class?

Clarky:

richiessex Don’t kid yourselves, there will always be a class system in Britain whether you accept it or not

When i worked in I.T i would get treated so differently in shops, restaurants etc. just because i wore a suit because most poeple assume you are in a different class just because you wear a suit

But i’ve always been working class because as knight says, i work

Have to agree with this one.
Prime example was at the CV show, a few salesmen were more interested in speaking to the suited and booted people. My mate who runs vans on European was dressed in " jeans Tshirt boots" is looking to buy some vans, he had to chase the salesmen, but they were more interested in chasing the suits!

Where there’s muck there’s money!!

The only class for me was the one i was in just before i left school…i am ME…
but i must say that i earn a lot more than my parents ever did, also more than some of my neighbours, who have bigger and posher cars, and more so than some who live in bigger houses, so who is classier than the other.
The prices of property in some areas , wouldnt buy a dogs kennel in london, but to sell a property in london, would enable us to buy a much bigger property elsewheree…but that doesnt mean we/you are in a different class.
In germany, most people own a Mercedes, but thats mainly because most dont own a house…their preferred way is to rent…so i dont think its what you`ve got, or how you spend your cash, because the majority of people are working class because they work…the only people who dont have to work to earn a good living are in a different class to most of us, and god bless em…

Truck/Lorry drivers are of the AJS Class. Thats the Average Joe Soap Class. The one where half of what you earn disappears before you’ve seen it, you pay more for fuel then you did for the vehicle and when it comes to a decision, no matter how hard you shout, your never heard!

mucky:
reading the sun the other day … i think its more about how we view ourselves and treat others not what statistics etc say

Working Class = Sun :open_mouth:
Middle Class = Telegraph :unamused:
Upper Class = Chauffeur Reads it to you !

I do the Fantasy Football in The Sun and Telegraph, like the pictures in the Sun  and the News in the Telegraph :open_mouth: and at the moment have no requirement for a Chauffeur…

Think im somewhere in between the first two, but dont mind how people view me, i think everyone is equal, yes everyone and ill pay for the teas if i meet someone new....especially if youre female

Working Class and proud of it …

Working class and a Times reader. (takes me 3 days to finish it, so good value!)

Anyone seen one of these signs before

i will be underclass until ive got a job

wheres the upper class option■■?

I used to consider my self working class, but since i delivered to Scotland i now consider myself middle class

buffoon:

  Is the translation…Watch yer nuts on the nettles when you crap in the lay-by

Slightly off topic of class, but on topic of ■■■■■■■■…Agency driver at our place out for an overnight, squeezed one out and left it ■■■■■■■ in a bag under the seat :unamused: forgot about taking it away with him :unamused: :unamused: . 3 days later regular driver of unit back on duty eventually finds where the stink is coming from :open_mouth: needless to say agency driver has not been back to our place since :exclamation:

working class and be proud of it,
without you guys the country would stop…
i miss being a part of it,
