Oh I’ve only just seen the thread about Archies death.
He came in person to collect a couple of copies of my book (I don’t live very far from Pickering) and we had a couple of brews and a long chin wag as we have a number of local colleagues in common. Lovely bloke and I was hoping to catch him again. Sad news
