Can anyone confirm if Archbolds are still running a euro operation only a friend told me recently they may not be doing those Italian runs anymore?I did a few months holiday relief for them a while ago and challenging as it was I thoroughly enjoyed my time there especially under the control of John Holroyd who is the perfect gent,money not to good but after the last few months of working in the sterile arena of uk container land I would give my left bollock to get back out there again.The mountain corridor between France and Italy is truly spell binding and has never left my thoughts.

When I was there a couple of years ago, it was just the subbies doing the international work.
you will find that most staff have jumped ship to yeardley. john wood and several others certainly have. so suspect something is not right with them at the moment also they keep calling me for loads out of Italy and working more as a clearing house than anything else these days.
Worked out of Heywood a couple of weeks ago via an agencyI know that they were looking for euro owner drivers,not sure that I would run for them as an O/D though.
