I have my class2 test on Thursday fingers crossed all goes ok, can I start looking for work straight away or do I need to wait for my licence to come back?

Photocopy both parts of your provisional. These, together with your pass certificate are evidence that you are legal to drive. (subject to any cpc requirements and digitach possibly). Most agencies wont accept this. Some smaller employers will. You will normally receive your full licence in about a week. The examiner will offer to take your licence from you at the end of the test and authorise the issue of a new one which will be sent directly to your home address. This is the quickest way. But don’t do it if you have Mod 4 to do as you need to produce your licence for that.
