Just passed class C and as I have my CPC to do I opted to retain my licence till after that.

Thing is I would quite like to keep my test pass certificate, can I get round it■■? Say it’s damaged and lost or something?? Also do I need to complete a D2 form when returning my old licence in application for additional entitlement??

As for the CPC if I pass what happens, do they give you a pass certificate and send out your DQC automatically or do I need to do more form filling??

I don’t know a way round but I’d like to have kept mine too! But has to send it off. I’ve still got my car one.

You cannot keep the original and as far as I know there is not a system which allows DVLA to send it back to you

What you can do is scan it and print off a colour duplicate to keep for yourself

Yes but the original does have a nice little hologram. Ill colour photocopy it and see how it looks.

It’s just I’d like to build up a set of them, lol :slight_smile:

The only way to allow you to keep your certificate is for the examiner to send off your licence on the day.

The DVLA will send an old licence back on request (send SAE) but they put a hole in the photo

They may now do similar with pass certs but the only way to find out will be to contact them

Easy, I know someone who can make these up, send either to dvla, they won’t notice the difference.
