at least you’ll get a full 24hrs reduced weekly rest!

I think they might need a bigger boat than that. :smiling_imp:

Im still waiting for them to release the summer 2014 timetable, as they aren't able to take bookings beyond Jan 14th. IF it becomes a viable alternative to BF itll be well used, especially at £160 rtn for a motorcycle +1 passenger atm

Looks a bit small and pokey for 26 hours across the bay of Biscay LOL

Knowing LD it will last about 5 minutes. And that’s a Visentini ship, Celtic Link have one doing Rosslare Cherbourg in 18 hours and like some have said its not got enough passenger space for that length, let alone a 24. Brittany Ferries in terms of quality are hard to beat. I just shipped to Spain on the Pont Aven, beautiful ship, nice food and a cabin to myself. Was a most enjoyable 24 hours.

LD Lines are a joke company. When they get it right they are good, but then they pull the plug 5 minutes later. They have no staying power to build routes up over time. Just look at Boulgne’s lovely new terminal that they shafted the local authority over. Traffic was starting to build nicely on Boulgne Dover and it was becoming a viable alternative to Calais like Dunkirk, but like everything they wanted it all and wanted it now. I’m not sure if this is LD alone or with DFDS. If its with DFDS then there may be hope for a long term service. If not it’ll be gone this time next year.

Bolougne to Calais would have been a great route. I never knew it was in use.
