Yeah B J Myers this was their yard at the Blackwall Tunnel where the Millenium dome was built.

The red trailers were Dentressangle must have been an early foray into the UK we used to do traction work for them and Merzario among others .

No not from Deptford although I worked for a firm there Robinsons black and red Scanias. From Myers I remember Tony and Brian, George A lot of the drivers names I’ve forgotten but I remember some like little H, Henry, Fred, Robbie. Ray Biggar
etc some will come to me again, must be having a senior moment!!!

I think Dentressangle were here before those photos were taken :exclamation:

This one was taken in the mid 70’s in the uK

Myers were probably the second haulier to pull for Dentressangle in the UK - after B J Walton Transport of Kent. This was during the middle '70’s I expect. This was for their Calais branch.

Also Mainland Market Deliveries of Portsmouth pulled for Dentressangle out of Southampton around that time.

Myers were to first to pull Dentressangle ‘Kangarou’ trailers in the UK, operating for Dentressangle’s Chambery and Novara offices, and Myers were also the first to pull ND Belgium trailers in the UK when that subsidiary was started in the '80s.

Myers stopped operating for ND around 1991.
