Anyone read that post on msn... coctors strike

I opened that post to see the replies. By and large, they were supportive of those who marched out. Now here’s the ‘tread on the cat’s tail’ issue… Somebody posted and reeled off what HGV Drivers have to comply with; namely … 90 hours / fortnight ; 9 hours / day, extended to 10 twice a week. Driving…
And also having to comply with a minefield of other legislation.

Some little snotty nondescript came with his reply along the lines of… truck drivers are 10 a penny, doctors are’nt.

Ok. Doctors can work 70+ hours per week. They get tired too. But who picks up the bill for wrong medication or amount of? Not the doctor ,surgeon… The NHS. The Claims LLG must be having a field day.

The truck driver gets it wrong and ol’ mc.donald’s slurry pit hits the fan…

Edit please…DOCTORS STRIIKE…

We ain’t anywhere near as important as doctors…

It takes less than 5 days for a lorry driver to be able to work unsupervised, for a doctor it takes 5 years study as a medical student.

It beats me why anyone would even compare the 2 jobs with each other.
