I’ve got a mate who’s 25 and looking at doing his class 2 and class 1 does anyone know of any intensive courses in the midlands area that offer a fixed fee course with class 2 and class 1 included?
Phone up the local providers please stay away from brokers but also remember that 1 size does not fit all
He might be better going for several assessment to see who he like & the price

Most one-to-one courses are intensive by their nature. Consecutive training days followed by the test on the last day is the norm. Assuming a pass, there will be a delay until the driver’s class 2 licence arrives because it is also the provisional for class 1.
Then another ‘intensive’ 2-4 days followed by a test. The driving part should take about four to five weeks overall.
I guess a few driving schools offer the above. I am pretty sure Peter Smythe at Mansfield and Peterborough does. I seem to remember he also offers a fixed-fee arrangement.
As Alan says, most trainers have an offering that seems to be what you’re asking about. I’m always happy to discount rates for Trucknet users. Just at the moment, I’m doing particularly daft deals at Peterborough if that is any use.
May be worth a pm?

Tell him to walk before he can run, basically don’t pay for both at once.
It’s best to concentrate on passing the C first then try and haggle for discount on the CE training.
This is my advice as a trainer
