Nothing to stop you signing up and pulling his tail…the funny thing is the same bloke is one of those who protest very vigorously about Type Approval etc for motorcycles. He doesn’t want his ‘right’ to fit a loud exhaust impinged by anyone, but he doesn’t want trucks driving down ‘his’ road.
I think he’s made the whole accident thing up…can’t find any reference to it anywhere. Truck doing 60 hits car with 4 people in it and kills them all on a 30 mph residential street would surely merit a police appeal for witnesses or a line or 2 in the local paper?

Thread locked, which is a shame- guess the moderation team realised where the hits where coming from (i.e this thread) and had enough of the ill-informed rubbish being spouted.
Shame as I’m sure Mr Rats intentions where honourable (well sort of) just his execution horrendous.

Motorcyclists (like truck drivers) can get very upset when one of their own dies on the road.
There may be a valid case for a TRO on Mr Rat’s road, but I don’t think it justifies making up stories about people getting killed.
I’m disappointed about them closing the thread…why shouldn’t truck drivers be permitted to make a contribution and voice an opinion on the matter. Pied Piper’s points were all perfectly valid. We get posters here putting over the point of view of cyclists etc, and this forum is very open to people pointing out that trucks could sometimes be driven better.
From my point of view as a non truck driver who cycles and motorcycles most trucks are driven well most of the time. Better than most cars are. The last longish main road ride I did on my pushbike I was overtaken by 5 trucks, all of which waited for a safe moment and gave me space. A couple of idiots in cars did really bad overtakes.
