Anyone know about towing a boat

Spotted this little set up on the A34 last week, he was doing a good 50mph,
i bet he`s not that quick on the roundabouts

I think the speed limit on towing, caravans and trailers, including this one is 50 mph…although i wouldnt like to tow that one at 50, it looks very unstable…

I’ve towed them before. More stable than you would think as the keel is the heavy bit and that’s on the trailer. wouldn’t push my luck on round a bouts though.
I think the limit is 60 mph not sure though.
Another plus is they are quite aroedynamic which helps with the stability.

I bet he hasn’t got the vehicles height stamped in the cab

bloody good point that .spect vosa never check em

The speed limit for towing a trailer including a caravan (or a boat) in 60MPH

if that went under a low bridge because sat nav sent him that way

he would be up [zb] creek without a paddle

(Edited for a censor dodge. If you need to put stars in or miss spell a word to get it past the auto-censor, take that as a hint it isn’t allowed and use a different word. Simon)

Perhaps he’s not planning on going under any bridges?

:open_mouth:

He has lowered his mast ready to go under bridges.

It would be more fun to take it to the nearset place they could launch it and sail it to the delivery point.

It will be moared on the coast. YOU WOULD THINK
