When I used to download the tacho machines for Turners, I always felt the socket felt a little flimsy and would easily be broken, so I’d not want a device that size stuck out of it…

I’ve got truck timer at the min but its a pain having to press your mode on your tacho unit then on your phone, might invest in a device like this

Still over a hundred sheets and they only ship to commercial customers!!

Think I will stick with my smart phone app as a back up to my diary. Got used to using it now.

Which one do you have, I currently use TruckerTimer by SpottyDog (sounds naff now I’ve typed it out). It’s set up to chnage otherwork/driving by using GPS. POA and rest are still manual.

It’s pretty good and is only a back up to my diary, you can enter reg and trailer numbers, mileage and a notes section. Can’t see it replacing my diary as when I change phone or reboot all data is lost :frowning: .

Back it up to a comp then to a flash drive or cd.

Why would you need one, there is a perfectly good bit of kit in the truck that will give you all that information for free!
