I’ve just redonned the limp after a couple of years off but how times have changed.
There’s definitely seems to be a greater push for the client and infact the agency to get their pound of flesh out of you for less pay.
After a couple of steady days of 8hrs last week with a familiar client to get back in my stride, I did a day run Monday for a new client, just a simple 1 drop (Doncaster to Horsham), the simple 1 drop day run is quickly going wrong, so I decide after 12hrs instead of pushing to the limit to try and get back I went into J23 for the night and run in this morning. I’d already decided on cutting my losses and not doing anymore “day” runs for the client even though I was book for the rest of the week
Hi chaps. I am currently doing a bit of ad hoc work at the mo & have just seen an agency advertising for night trunk drivers in Grantham, I presume it could be for Brakes as its fridge box work to rdcs, anybody have any experience/knowledge of this. Thanks. L.D.

I would have thought that a container would make this particular run better like this…
Considering the state of the M25 Monday that might be appropriate
